The 1 week doctors visit.
Today we all went to the pediatrician’s office for Keeg’s first visit. He came out weighing 8lbs and is expected to gain 1oz. a day for the next few weeks. The Dr checked him out and said his jaundice looked good. His only problem was that it seemed that the muscle in the right side of his neck hadn’t developed as well as the one on the left(prob from having his neck crinked in the womb). Now she thinks we need to see a physical therapist to get the muscle massaged out. Bullshit I say. I’ll look up massages and remedies on the internet and try to save us the $100’s of dollars on therapy. Besides that the Dr was very nice and explained some things and we were in and out quick.
Congrats Jamie and Dana - Keegan is adorable!!! I know a very reasonably priced massage therapist who is also a nurse in the area - she is certified in infant massage - one session with her might be what you are looking for - Linda Ifert 927 - 1736. She works out of her home and also out of an OB/GYN’s office. I will also shoot K.Pucci a line as she has pediatric experience in the therapy world. Hope this helps!
